Life-Style Property Services was one of the first businesses to start on what was a new housing development on 1,000 acres in North Bristol (Bradley Stoke) which began in 1986. I was a local GP and started the only GP practice in Bradley Stoke in 1986. I had no purpose-built premises initially and worked from a variety of premises including two semi-detached houses. When I managed to acquire land and build a purpose-built Surgery the recession of 1989/1991 was in progress. I visited Life-Style Property Services and met Nicola Tovey. She advised it was not a good time to sell but to let out these 2 houses. Nicola (who moved up in seniority within the business) and then her colleagues at the expanded business of Life-Style Property Services have supervised the letting of these houses ever since.
Nicola is friendly, totally reliable, efficient and helpful. I must have known her now for nearly 30 years. She manages potentially difficult situations between landlord and tenant with humour but is always fair and straightforward in her dealings. She communicates clearly and always returns calls promptly, which can be a rare event nowadays. She has a broad experience of running an office, accounts and of the property business. Her knowledge of property and the legal side of the landlord/tenant business is vast, backed up by many years of experience.
Nicola provides prompt monthly e-mail financial accounts. Her advice regarding renovation of property and also what is a good investment property is always sound.
