Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
An Energy Performance Certificate, otherwise known as an EPC, provides an energy rating for a home. From 1st October 2008 it is a legal requirement that all properties coming onto the market to let must have an EPC. The Energy Performance Certificate is akin to the A to G rating that you will have on your fridge and other home appliances that state the energy useage and its efficiency.
